The Array School was created from a simple belief: children deserve more than a one-size-fits-all education. After more than 20 years of working with children and families as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, school administrator, and educational leader, founder Yonnette Moore recognized that even strong traditional schools cannot always provide every child with the individualized attention, flexibility, and real-world learning experiences they need to thrive. We created The Array School to offer something different—a small, nurturing, academically rigorous learning community where children are known deeply, challenged appropriately, and encouraged to discover who they are as learners and as people.

The word ‘Array’ represents the variety of learners, experiences, ideas, talents, and opportunities that make education meaningful. Our programs extend beyond traditional academics by helping students understand how what they learn connects to the world around them. We begin with a small elementary program (K-2) and expand over time, providing personalized, student-centered educational experiences designed to develop confident, curious, independent learners who are prepared for success in an ever-changing world.
